Catch the Fun

Sedgefield angling club had a club social on the swartvlei lagoon on Sunday 24th June. It was a beautiful winters day with no wind and sunny skies. The outing was well attended with 15 anglers on 5 boats. It was a struggle getting the boats launched as it was very low, but teamwork and the motivation to fish got the boats launched. Legends Sports bar put up all the prizes and we are very grateful to have them support us.

1st place- Sanwyn Smith: 3.4kg, 3 grunters.

2nd place- Shaun Smith: 3.2kg, 3 grunters.

3rd place- Madison Smith: 2.8kg, 2 grunters.

4th place- Dean Grant: 1.2kg, 1 Cape Stumpnose, 1 Grunter

5th place- Tristan Webster: 0.4kg, Cape Stumpnose
